Successful work of a restaurant requires
well-organized operating of the personnel at all stages of client servicing:
from taking to performing an order. Automation of sending messages from a dining
room to a kitchen occupies a special place in this process. Besides,
service-printing system is now widely used in restaurants. This means that each
of its divisions has its service-printer to print collected orders.
 |
Kitchen Display System (KDS) - a monitor to display
the orders sent to the service-printer - has been developed to optimize more
dining room-kitchen links. A cook uses a special device to manage orders. KDS is
able to completely replace the service-printing system, or can be used as an
additional device. |
 |
The information displayed on the monitor is
simultaneously available for a quite number of employees engaged in production.
The cook looks through the orders listed on the screen, and deletes them as they
are performed, by pressing a corresponding button on the console.
